Learn all about lacto-fermentation and the foods you can make using this method, including sauerkraut and kimchi. We will also discuss the health benefits of including fermented foods in your diet. All participants will leave with a batch of 'kraut to take home.
Elena Bourakovsky lives in Blue Hill and operates Back Stage Farm with her husband Bill Raiten. She produces fermented foods under the "Moxie" label, which are sold at many area farmers markets and natural grocers.
