Join Edible Island for a very special dinner from Sam Hayward of Fore Street and Devin Finigan of Aragosta. The meal will feature a bounty of farm produce, local seafood, and foraged ingredients. 

Edible Island is excited to welcome Sam Hayward of Fore Street to collaborate with local chef Devin Finigan of Aragosta for what looks to be a very special meal. David's Folly Farm will be our host for the evening, and we look forward to seeing what magic Sam and Devin create in this stunning setting. 


Sam Hayward opened Fore Street in 1996, in Portland’s Old Port, and quickly gained notoriety for his wood fired flavors and dedication to localized sourcing. In 2002, Fore Street was named Number 16 in Gourmet magazine’s Top Fifty Restaurants of the United States. And in 2004, Hayward was named Best Chef/Northeast by the James Beard Foundation. 


Devin was raised in the mountains of Vermont, where she grew up planting gardens, churning butter and making ice cream from milk from their family cow. Her mother, a gardener, and her father, a chef at Vermont's Inn at Sawmill Farm, instilled in her an appreciation for simple, good, fresh food from an early age.  Devin is Chef/Owner of Aragosta in Stonington.
