Tuesday August 1st | 5:00pm – 8:00pm
with Harry Kaiserian
Join Harry to explore the many uses of phyllo dough. You'll have a chance to make several dishes, both sweet and savory and will leave with some tricks and techniques on how to best take advantage of this pantry staple.
Phun Pholding Phyllo will explore basic cooking techniques with phyllo dough. Learn how to use this marvelous food product to make some wonderful appetizers and desserts. Walk away with recipes and the know-how to do almost anything with phyllo. In class we will prepare: spanikopita (Greek cheese pies), smoked salmon quiche, Moroccan style meat pies, and an Armenian twist on baklava (it’s easier to make and tastes better).
Harry Kaiserian's penchant for ethnic foods, coupled with his career in the Navy, has led him into kitchens around the world.
