    Join Sigrid as she takes us through the depth and breadth of winemaking in Portugal, from fresh whites, to well aged Madeira. Taste why Portugal is a fixture in the world of wine!

    Portugal is home to one of the oldest and richest wine making cultures in the world. Renowned for the production of Port, a fortified wine made from grapes grown on the steep hills of the Douro Valley, Portugal is also making incredible table wines. Not only is the Douro  region known for its beauty and history, but for the unique wines and the incredible value.  Light and fresh Vinho Verde, fresh lemony whites that pair with the seafood of the region, earthy, elegant reds from high in the hills, and lest we forget, rich and luxurious Madeira for these cold winter months. Come and taste why Portugal is a fixture in the world of wine.

    Sigrid Coffin, of Easterly Wines, is our guest instructor for this class. This is the third class for our “Armchair Wine Tour” with Water's Edge Wines.
