Join Max to learn the basics of a cheese and charcuterie board. The techniques covered can be used as taught or easily modified to make a wide variety of holiday appetizers.

Come learn the basics of putting together your own cheese and charcuterie board. We will pickle red onions, make sea salt and smoked paprika crackers, and cook a chicken liver pate. The techniques covered can be used as taught or easily modified to make a wide variety of holiday appetizers.

 

Max Mattes has worked for over 35 years in the food system. He now splits his time as the Chef at the Whales Rib Tavern in Deer Isle and as Edible Island's Education Director.
