Join Lisa to learn the basics of making homemade breakfast pastries. We will cover doughs used to make cinnamon buns, biscuits, and even create a beautiful braided loaf. Weekend morning will never be the same in your kitchen!
We can't think of any better accompaniment to start your morning in Maine than a fresh pastry. Lisa will lead the class through several baked goods that should be a part of everyone's breakfast repertoire. We will cover cinnamon buns, biscuits, sticky bins, and braided breads. These doughs can be modified to work in countless other preperations.
Lisa Turner splits her time between Isle au Haut and Stonington. She has worked in several kitchen environments, most recently with Black Dinah Chocolatiers where she made ice cream and baked for their cafe. Lisa's creations are always a crowd pleaser at island potlucks and we are excited to have her share with us.
